Painting

For many years indus has been providing Leisure Artists with outstanding painting tours to many of the most beautiful parts of the world. All the painting holidays are led by experienced Artists who give tutorials throughout, guiding guests through the challenges of painting on location. Tours are based on Watercolours but our Artists will advise and discuss the best medium suited to your particular style.

The painting sessions are informal and tailored to the individual, group and method of the tutor. Beginners are most welcome although to maximise the unique experience a few lessons prior to the tour would be beneficial. Excursions play a major part in many programmes where guests are shown the cultural highlights of the area being visited – naturally with sketchpad in hand! After booking guests are encouraged to talk with the tutor, discussing not only their aspirations from the tour but to get hints and tips on items to bring with them.

We use unique hotels of a high standard that are carefully chosen for their location and service. Many tours are on half board basis. In the evenings the group usually enjoys a leisurely meal together - perhaps planning the next day’s masterpieces! Tours vary in duration from 5 to 14 nights.
