24 September 2010Cairo – Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo
Today visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities including a tour of the Treasures of King Tutankhamun.In the afternoon, a city tour through old Islamic Cairo.
25 September 2010 Aswan – Cruise
Morning transfer to Cairo airport to board Egypt Airflight to Aswan. Arrive Aswan and transfer to themagnificent Oberoi Philae cruiser to commence a 4-night cruise on the Nile. Enjoy a delightful sail in aFelucca around the Nile islands.
26 September 2010 Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu
After breakfast enjoy a guided tour of the High Damand the Temple of Philae. Afternoon sail to Komomboand Edfu visiting the waterside Temples dedicated totwo Gods, Sobek and Haroeris.
27 September 2010 Edfu - Luxor
Morning guided visit to the Temple of Horus, the Falconheaded God, in Edfu, the best-preserved ancient Templein Egypt. Later sail to Luxor crossing the lock at Esna.
28 September 2010 Luxor - Thebes, Valley of the Kings
Morning cross to the west bank to visit the Necropolisof Thebes, Valley of the Kings with its hundreds ofTombs secreted in the hillside, the Mortuary Temple ofQueen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
29 September 2010 To Hurghada
After breakfast disembark the cruise and explore theeast bank visiting the Temples of Luxor & Karnak. Latertransfer by private coach to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada. Stay at the superb Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh for4 nights.
30 September - 02 October 2010 Hurghada
Days at leisure.
03 October 2010 To London
Morning transfer to the airport to board Egyptair flight to Cairo and connect with the onward flight to London on BMI.
