Morning arrival in Delhi and transfer to The Lalit Hotel. Afternoonsightseeing of Old Delhi includes: an exhilarating rickshaw ride tothe Jama Masjid through the bustling Chandni Chowk market andback streets – once the centre of the Mughal city – Shah Jehanabad.Finally continue onto the Raj Ghat – Mahatma Gandhi’s cremationsite, before returning to the hotel. 2 nights at The Lalit Hotel.

After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Afternoon sightseeing includesthe magnificent Junagarh Fort – a mighty bastion protecting theland from both invader and the encroaching Great Thar Desert.Overnight at the Laxmi Niwas Palace.
04 November 2010 To Jaisalmer
Morning drive deep into the heart of the desert to Jaisalmer. Twonights at Gorband Palace Hotel.
05 November 2010 Jaisalmer
Morning visit the inhabited hilltop Fortress and roam the streetsfinding hidden corners where delightful frescoes adorn thebeautiful Merchant houses. Jaisalmer was a strategic town onthe ancient caravan routes and is awash with history andintrigue. Afternoon excursion to take a camel ride in the Samsand dunes and view the beautiful sunset.
06 November 2010 To Luni via Jodhpur
After an early breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Visit the 15th c.Meherangarh Fort soaring above the city, with its delightful insight into the life and times of the ruling family. Also visit the quietJaswant Thada – a marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Continue driving to Luni Overnight at Fort Chanwa.
07 November 2010 To Udaipur via Ranakpur
Morning drive to Udaipur en–route visiting the beautifully carvedmarble 15th c. Jain temples of Ranakpur. The sensitivity of thecarving on the 200 hundred pillars is astonishing. Two nights stayat the Fatehgrah Palace.

Enchanting dawn visit to the Taj Mahal, an eternal symbol of love.After breakfast visit Agra Fort, where Shah Jehan, imprisoned by hisson, spent his last days gazing at his wife’s Tomb.
