Travellers arriving in Nepal instantly fall under its magical spell. Wherever you look there are vistas to delight and enchant: Magnificent Durbar squares with exquisite wood carvings and architecture. Timeless Hindu and Buddhist Temples. The Chitwan National Park, home to the rare Bengal tiger and one-horned hino. All are bound together with snow-capped mountains, lush deep valleys and sparkling rivers.

magic-nepalDay 1. To Delhi
Fly from Heathrow to Delhi on direct Jet Airways flight.

Day 2. To Kathmandu
Arrive Delhi in the morning and connect to the Kathmandu flight. Three nights stay at the Hotel Shangrila.

Day 3. Kathmandu
Morning tour of Kathmandu includes the magnificent Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Buddhist Temple crowned by its golden spire. Afternoon visit Patan - the city of fine arts - with its superb Durbar Square, once the residence of the Malla rulers and now a Museum.

Day 4. Kathmandu
Morning drive to Bhadgaon - the home of Newari Medieval art and architecture - to see the Durbar Square and Nyatapola Temple. Visit the Holiest Temple of Pashupatinath – dedicated to Lord Shiva. In Bodhnath see one of the worlds largest Stupas with four pairs of eyes, facing the four cardinal directions.

Day 5. To Chitwan National Park
Fly to Chitwan National Park. Afternoon jeep safari. Two nights stay at Island Jungle Resort.

Day 6. Chitwan National Park
Full day of jungle activities. Rare one-horned rhino, Bengal tigers, elephants and leopards roam the land. The Park has 450 species of birds, 43 of mammals and 45 amphibians and reptiles.

Day 7. To Pokhara
Early morning jungle activity. After breakfast drive to Pokhara. Two nights stay at the Shangri-La Village Resort.

Day 8. Pokhara
Day to relax and enjoy the clear air of Pokhara, walking, shadowed by the awesome beauty of the snow-capped Annapurna range, through dramatic countryside. Pokhara is one of the main starting points for Nepalese trekking.

Day 9. To Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu through glorious scenery. Overnight at Hotel Shangrila.

Day 10. To Heathrow via Delhi
Morning fly to Delhi and connect with direct Jet Airways flight to Heathrow
