Indochina holiday
Dear Shawn,
I have now recovered after a fabulous holiday. Thank you for arranging it for us, everything was perfect. The boat was great the crew was very helpful, food good and trips great. It is possibly not worth the extra, which I gather is a lot, for the Upper Deck, but it was nice to have our own little 'balcony' with chairs. We saw a lot of rural Cambodia, very interesting. The weather was having a glitch and instead of being up in the high 30s was only about 26, which was excellent, everyone was pleased. As well as meaning we did not roast, it also meant we could start our days at 8.30 instead of 6. The river was low and we had to go on a bus for the last day to Siem Reap as the boat could not get into the Lake. Angor Wat was amazing and the guide very good with excellent English. Perhaps the dancing dinner was the least enjoyable, though I enjoyed the dancing. It was not very comfortable and the food was not very good.
But an excellent holiday, and I hope this information helps a bit. I have returned your assessment slip.

Clare Inskip - A painting Holiday in Indochina.
I travelled to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia last year with a group of painters arranged by IndusTours and travel. We had the most wonderful time, Everywhere we were met and looked after and I was so surprised howcomfortable, and lovely the hotels were, mainly small boutique hotels we chose.. The people were very friendly and it worked so well .
Painting in the colourful markets and the temples and The World Heritage sights was fantastic, especially Ankhor Watand Hoi An In Vietnam i wouldnt have missed for anything. We also loved Luang Prabang, in Laos and the Buddhist monks in theirsafron robes made a great sight beside the Mekong river. Further down the Mekong in the Delta we had our own private boatamongst the Floating markets, a perfect studio to study the melon and vegetble sellers. |

Vietnam & Cambodia holiday

I just spoke to Rajeev and told him how very pleased we were with every aspect of our recent holiday.
Everything went perfectly from start to finish. We were met everytime, never had to wait and any problems were dealt with efficiently and quickly.
We would have no hesitation in using Indus again and would be happy to assure any other prospective private tour customers that it is definitely the perfect way to travel.
If you want us to elaborate further on individual aspects of the tour and the guides we would be happy to do so. All, bar one, were excellent, putting our needs first and ensuring we were perfectly happy at all times.
We have many (and I mean many!) photos of our trip so will possibly be spending the next few months trying to collate them! On a positive side at least we did our Christmas shopping in Cambodia!
Thank you again for all your help. the time taken certainly was worth it.
