Caitlin- Member Himalayan Geology Tour

In a strange way I wish Indus had messed up parts of the trip, such as missing our flight home or being stuck somewhere. I have a penchant for adventure and anything to stop us coming home would have been a very nice disaster in my book.

Other than that, simply thank you for the experience and for giving me a mantra to use on daily life – there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.Was an amazing life-changing trip & hope more people can be amazed in the future. Thanks

A few days after arriving home it finally dawned on me what I had done. India was a country which I never imagined I would visit yet I’ve been to Delhi, travelled on the Toy Train and reached the second highest navigable road in the world (to name just a few). The trip was the best two weeks of my life so far. I loved every moment of it even when I was feeling low (those moments made me stronger).

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience such an amazing country.

Overall it was organised well and I had a fantastic experience and I think the choice of teachers helped.Thankyou for the opportunity to take part in the trip, it rose above my expectations and has changed me for the better.It was the trip of a lifetime, a life-changing experience of the highest order. I can’t recommend it enough.

I would go back tomorrow; it was a fantastic experience. I saw things I’m probably never going to see again, and I also miss Marsala chai like crazy. It was amazing, thank you for making it happen.

India 2010 trip was the most inspiring, wonderful fortnight of my life. I’ll carry everything I learnt and saw with me for the rest of my life. All the staff were absolutely brilliant and I owe Earth Sciences department so so so much. Because of Kenya and India I am a better version of myself.
