So we now find ourselves back in Mumbai, having to come back to London, snow, darkness etc.

But the important thing to say is: Neeleshwar Hermitage was stupendous. We loved every minute, and it was painful to leave yesterday. We were there for a week, and most of the time there were only two other guests - and it has a staff of 65! So we were quite well looked after! The food was stunning and the staff were unbelievably nice. Most of them are local, which is a deliberate policy. All the food is cooked fresh; it is predominantly vegetarian, with some local fish.

Prasad Nair is the general manager, and he had dinner with us on Sunday evening. They market mainly through the likes of Indus. We will certainly want to go back.
