We have just returned from our holiday with the Blounts to Rajastan. It was a huge success and we all had a truly memorable time. We met some charming and efficient people and there were so many highlights including seeing tigers and staying in some beautiful old palaces. I feel we saw the real India travelling in the minibus and our driver was excellent. The family at Shapura were so welcoming and one of the Aunts cried at our departure saying we were their favourite quests ever! The Amber fort and the City Palace Museum in Udaipur were beautiful. The last time I went to the Taj 15 years ago, we had more freadom to explore inside and there was not the smell of feet then!

Thank you so much for organising such a fantastic holiday so well. You and Jane Blount make quite a team.
