Just to let you know we are back & our trip went very well, thank you for your help in organising.

The driver we had, Mono, was super, very safe, considerate & helpful...even to the extent of helping us climb up to forts etc.

One thing worth recommending is a boat trip down the Chambal river..starts in the local park ..We saw crocodiles, eagles, vultures & lots of other birds. The boatman was very well informed & equipped with binoculars & a book re birds of India.

Two places we stayed were outstanding: Narlai was a splendid location, comfortable with good food & Shapura was wonderful. A lovely family, very urbane & interesting, super location, excellent food, it would be a lovely, relaxing 4/5 day break.

Our first impression of the hotel in Delhi was an Indian equivalent of Fawlty Towers!!! However, on our way home Justin needed medical treatment & the hotel staff could not have been more helpful or efficient.

As always,Indus came up trumps & more than met our expectations. Many, many thanks
