Our development team travels regularly to all our destinations, to keep
abreast of the latest developments, constantly monitoring all

1998. HOTELS & MEALS We use a variety of hotels for
our tours; many are world-renowned deluxe hotels, providing the finest
in service, comfort and cuisine. Some are traditional heritage hotels
offering character and time-honoured hospitality, whilst in more remote
regions, they are simple and plain reflecting the local atmosphere. Meals
are as stated in the price brochure. Most hotels offer an international
cuisine: a combination of local dishes and European food. Please let us
know if you have special dietary needs. INTERNATIONAL and INTERNAL TRAVEL
For your comfort we generally use British Airways.We also use other
quality carriers including Virgin Atlantic, Air France, Lufthansa, KLM,
Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Gulf Airlines, Kuwait Airways and Sri
Lankan Airlines. If you have a particular preference please ask for
prices as discounts may apply. For clients wishing to leave from a
regional airport we offer competitive internal UK connecting flights to
Heathrow, and organise airport accommodation if required. Flights are

many of our tours in India internal flights are necessary where
distances are great. Train travel, especially in India is an experience
never to be forgotten, and we have included few train journeys to give
you a different perspective of the land. Sometimes the comfort is not
up to UK standards, but the views and company make up for it! For all
our tours we use private chauffeured cars or mini buses for larger
parties. CHOICE and COST The holiday is yours, so the

have added a second price band for some of the tours, using a mix of

Visas
A valid passport and visa for entry into the various countries is
required. Indus will undertake to arrange your visa for a small fee.
Please discuss with us your passport/visa requirements. Alternatively
visas should be obtained from the appropriate Embassy or High
Commission in your country of residence. It is your responsibility to
ensure you have the correct travel documents. Please allow 4-6 weeks
for visa issue. Passports should have six months validity at time of
application. For late bookings we can assist with visa applications.
Health and insurance We suggest that all clients talk to their doctor
about the various inoculations and travel precautions to be taken,
including DVT and Malaria. It is advisable to have up-to-date
immunisation against tetanus, polio, typhoid and hepatitis A. Ask your
doctor what is suitable for your destination. Medical care in some
countries is sparse. Although in India medical care is good, it is
essential that you take out an adequate travel insurance policy to
cover emergencies.We can provide a reliable policy for you – just ask

accordance with your requirements, we need to use the information you
provide and pass this on to our ground-handling agents.
We must pass the information on to relevant suppliers of your
travel arrangements such at airlines, hotels, transport companies etc.
The information may also be provided to public authorities such as
customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
This information may include your name, address, age and any special needs/disabilities/dietary requirements etc.
Once your information is passed on to the relevant supplier (of
your travel arrangements), the use of the information will be subject
to their own data protection policy.
You should be aware that as your holiday is outside the European
Economic Area, controls on data protection in your destination might
not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country.
Where you provide us with sensitive information such as details of
any disabilities or dietary/religious requirements, in making this
booking, you consent to this information being passed on to the
relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements. If we cannot pass this
information on to these persons, it may not be possible to provide your
booking.
We will not pass any information you provide onto any person not responsible for part of your travel arrangements.
